About this neighbourhood

Located to the east of Stone, this area has a rural character but also includes densely populated areas in the expanding villages of Hixon, Little and Great Haywood, Brocton, Tixall, Ingestre, Hilderstone, Hopton, Weston, Salt, Sandon, Gayton and outlying villages.

It is home to part of Cannock Chase which offers excellent leisure opportunities including cycling, fishing, walking and shooting. Historic Shugborough Hall is a venue for a number of open air classical concerts and is a centre for teaching outdoor activities and water sports.
